Mold copper tube is the core part of continuous caster, which plays the role of solidification of molten steel. Copper tube plays an important role in improving casting efficiency and steel quality. Mould tubes function is to receive molten steel and allow rapid heat transfer from the molten steel to the cooling water for rapid solidification. Mold needs to have good thermal conductivity, thermal corrosion resistance, and thermal stress deformation resistance.
