Ladle Shroud

Ladle Shrouds are designed to function without pre-heating. This cold-start functionality is guaranteed by a special anti-spalling liner. The slagline ZrO₂-C has excellent performance in corrosion resistance. There is a range of main body material choice depending on the steel composition and desired length of casting sequence. Nitrogen pick-up can be reduced by argon protection, which is provided through a metallic can system.

Monobloc Stopper/Stopper Rod

Monobloc Stoppers are build to give optimum mechanical strength and resistance to erosion.

  The stopper tip material and design to ensure best performance.

  Slagline erosion protection is also available. Argon injection can be done, and can be customized to any specific demand by using argon metering plugs.
